Chris Dingman in The New York Times

Congratulations to Chris Dingman, one of our percussionists in Trillium E, for this review in today’s New York Times for his premiere performance at the Jazz Gallery on Thursday!

“He comes to his style through a balance of theory and practice. An alumnus of Wesleyan University and the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance, he counts Anthony Braxton and Wayne Shorter among his mentors, and Steve Lehman, another perspicacious saxophonist-composer, among his peers.” – Nate Chinen
